I placed an order, when can I expect to receive it?

We do our best to process orders as quickly as possible. Most orders are processed within 2-3 business days during regular business hours (M-F 8 AM - 5 PM PST).  We have multiple warehouses across the U.S. Our processing team will do their best to locate and ship your order/items from the closest warehouse to your delivery address.

What are standard shipping and transit times?

Currently orders are shipping within 5-7 business days after the processing period.

  • Ground Shipping : 3-7 business days
  • 3-Day Shipping : 3 business days (Currently, this service is not being offered at checkout)
  • 2-Day Air : 2 business days (Currently, this service is not being offered at checkout)

When I try to place my order using a credit card, I keep getting an error. Help?

Shipping costs seem a little high. What should I do?

Please contact Sales or Customer Service at (800)942-2424, and someone can assist you with the order. There may be simple reasons and we can help to identify the correct shipping rates accordingly. For example, a box of QTY 24 tiny clamps may have calculated rates at $50. In reality, that rate should be $12-$18, depending on your location. We love technology, but it doesn’t always do what we want. In this case, the shipping rates are not intelligent enough to understand that all QTY 24 clamps will go into 1 box and have a total weight of 5lbs. It sees a quantity of 24 units and thinks the shipment will be 24lbs total.

Another scenario, you may have items in your cart that are required to ship with a Freight Truck carrier due to weight, dimensions, extreme length, or hazardous material. At checkout, the system will prompt you to choose the following option that says: "Cart has item(s) that Requires a FREIGHT QUOTE, we will contact you within 24-48hrs with your options. Rates start at $287.50." Once we receive your order, we will run multiple shipping options and contact you within 24-48hrs to go over them with you and collect the balance due for shipping at that time.

With multiple shipping options available, which option should I choose?

During checkout, you may see shipping options similar to the message below.  If you have items in your cart such as solar panels, batteries, equipment weighing over 70lbs, or rails longer than 108”, you will be prompted to select the option that says: "Cart has item(s) that Requires a FREIGHT QUOTE, we will contact you within 24-48hrs with your options. Rates start at $287.50".

These items are too delicate, large, heavy, or are considered hazardous and must ship with a freight truck. When you select this option, the order will be authorized for $287.50, and a sales representative will contact you within 24-48 hours of your order with freight shipping options.  Because of the nature of these items, how they are packed, and where they may be located, we are unable to provide immediate freight shipping quotes online. However, our sales team will do their best to secure the best rate with a reliable carrier. If you do not select this shipping option, and your order is required to ship freight, a team member will contact you with the correct shipping rate for your order.

Why is the freight quote shipping option $287.50?

We use a variety of freight shipping carriers to give our customers the best shipping rate, reliability, and timely delivery possible.  Most freight quotes start at a minimum of $287.50. Freight shipping varies according to weight, dimensions, number of pallets shipped, origin of shipment, and delivery address. Also, accessorial fees can be added for residential deliveries, deliveries that do not have a dock or forklift on site and require a lift gate, and also for scheduling delivery appointments.  A sales representative will explain all the options and help determine the most reliable and economical freight carrier for the order.

Do you offer system sizing and designing for my home/business?

Yes! Please contact our Sales Support at (800)942-2424. Our team of sales representatives and engineers are capable of sizing, designing, engineering, and (if necessary) creating integrated solutions for Off-Grid (remote/battery powered) and Grid-Tie (presence of an electrical grid/utility company) systems.

Why do I need a lift gate for a freight delivery?

If the delivery site does not have a dock or a forklift available to remove the pallet(s) from the freight truck, then a lift gate service will need to be added. The lift gate allows for the driver to remove the pallet(s) safely.

I need to return my order. What’s your return policy?

A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form must be submitted within 14 days from the date of delivery and your return may be subject up to a 20% restocking fee. All returned products must include all components originally shipped with the item (ie. manuals, documents, hardware, cabling, accessories, nuts, bolts, etc;). Is there an order minimum amount?

At Solarflexion, we believe in offering flexibility when it comes to your purchases, which is why we do not have a minimum order amount. You shouldn't feel the need to buy more than what you need! However, please note that some items may have a minimum order quantity (MOQ) due to how they are packaged by the manufacturer. In these cases, breaking up packs can make it harder to manage inventory and increases the likelihood of items being misplaced. Thank you for your understanding and we’re here to assist you with any questions about your orders!
